If you are trying to sell fitness coaching over text, you are making the process harder than it needs to be. A phone call allows you to build trust, hear tone, and guide the conversation properly. If someone is serious about change, they will get on the phone.
Start the call by asking them to walk you through their current routine. Get them talking about their training, nutrition and day-to-day schedule. While they speak, note where they struggle, what feels inconsistent and what they have already tried without success. This tells you exactly what they need help with.
Next, learn more about them as a person. Ask about their work, interests, social life and family. People are not just buying fat loss or muscle gain. They are buying more confidence, more energy and less stress in their daily life.
Once you understand their lifestyle and problems, explain how your coaching directly fits into their life. Show them how your support removes their specific obstacles and works around their schedule rather than against it. This should feel personalised, not generic.
Finish by offering two options. Present a lower-tier package and a higher-tier package with more support and accountability. This shifts the decision from a yes or no to choosing which option suits them best.
When the call is structured properly, selling feels natural rather than forced and conversion rate is higher.
