About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how FITPRO-X LIMITED uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies on www.fitpro-x.com and related online services.

Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, link decoration and device identifiers. Some are needed for a service to work, while others support preferences, statistics, embedded content or advertising.

2

Who controls the website

FITPRO-X LIMITED, company number 12745206, is responsible for deciding which technologies are used on its website. Our registered office is Unit 1 Lime Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England, NE1 2PQ. Questions may be sent to [email protected].

3

Our approach to consent

  • Technologies that are strictly necessary for a service requested by the user may be used without consent where the law allows.
  • Non-essential advertising and tracking technologies will not be activated before valid consent.
  • Where FITPRO-X relies on another statutory exception, such as a qualifying statistical or appearance-related use, it will provide the required information and a simple way to object.
  • Consent choices must be clear, specific and capable of being withdrawn. Rejecting non-essential cookies should be as straightforward as accepting them.
  • Changing or refusing optional cookies must not prevent access to core website information, although an optional feature may not work without the technology needed for that feature.
4

Categories of technology

The categories below describe how FITPRO-X may use cookies and similar technologies. The exact technologies in use are listed in the register in section 7.

Category Purpose Typical consent position
Strictly necessary Security, session management, fraud prevention, load balancing, requested forms, checkout and remembering privacy choices. Usually no consent where the statutory exception applies.
Preferences / functionality Remembering user selections, display preferences and features chosen by the visitor. Consent or another applicable exception, depending on purpose and conditions.
Statistics / analytics Understanding aggregate use, page performance and technical issues. Consent unless all conditions for an applicable statistical exception are met.
Marketing / advertising Measuring campaigns, creating audiences, cross-site tracking or personalising advertising. Prior consent required.
Embedded and third-party content Displaying video, maps, forms, social content or other externally hosted features. Depends on the third party and purpose; often prior consent.
5

Third-party technologies

Some technologies are set or accessed by third parties that provide website hosting, forms, analytics, advertising, payment, video or social features. FITPRO-X remains responsible for taking reasonable steps to understand technologies placed through its service and for presenting suitable information and controls.

Following a link to a separate third-party website is different from a third party setting technology on the FITPRO-X website. The third party’s own privacy and cookie information applies once you leave our service.

6

Managing choices

Visitors can use the cookie banner or privacy settings link on the website to accept, reject or change optional choices. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier processing unlawful, but optional technologies should stop being used for future activity once the choice is applied.

Browser controls can also block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect login, forms, checkout or other requested functions. Browser settings may not control every similar technology, so the website preference tool should also be used.

7

Cookie and technology register

The following is a publication checklist and register. Rows marked “Confirm” are not a statement that the technology is active. They must be verified against a live scan, website code, tag manager and third-party settings.

8

Retention and review

Cookie lifetimes should be limited to what is necessary for the stated purpose. FITPRO-X will review the register periodically, remove unused technologies and reassess consent or objection controls when website functions, advertising, analytics or providers change.

9

Personal information

Where information collected through cookies or similar technologies can identify a person or is linked to other personal information, the FITPRO-X Privacy Policy also applies. It explains lawful bases, sharing, retention, rights and complaints.

10

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect technology, law, guidance or website changes. The effective date and register should be updated when material changes are made. Where a change requires fresh consent, FITPRO-X will request it.

References are included for governance and review. The policy should be updated where legislation, guidance or contractual requirements change.
