How to Get Good at Selling

Most people think selling is about convincing someone to buy. In reality, the best salespeople don’t push a sale, they connect with the individual that they are selling to.

There’s no script that works best. Nobody likes to feel like they’re being sold to. Drop the rehearsed pitch and have a genuine conversation. Ask questions, listen, and share your perspective like you would with a friend.

In my experience people love to talk about themselves, so it’s better to let them talk and more often than not they will convince themself that buying your training plan is the best thing for them.. you just have to ask the right questions!

Another big part of selling is pinpointing someone’s problems and providing a solution to those problems with your service! Pay attention to what’s holding them back:

  • Do they need more clarity?
  • Are they worried about cost or risk?
  • Do they not see how it fits into their life?

Once you see the real barrier, you can help remove it by offering a solution.

At the end of the day, selling is about service.
If you can show someone how your service makes their life better, in a way that respects their concerns, you don’t need to push. You just need to guide.
