How to Gain Credibility Online as a Personal Trainer!
As a Personal Trainer, standing out isn’t just about looking good, it’s about building trust with those in your network by providing value to your audience.
- Share Educational Content
Don’t just post workouts, explain in more detail why doing these workouts are going to benefit people, include alternatives and dig deep into why people should listen to your advice. Break down exercises, nutrition basics, and common myths in a way that helps people learn. This helps show your audience that you know what you’re talking about. - Show Client Results (or your own results if you’re just starting as a PT)
People buy what other people buy, it’s the reason that one nightclub fills up on a weekend and the others are empty, they see others going there so follow those social cues. The same can be said for PT’s or classes, if you consistently show you are busy and that the people you are busy with are happy with the results they see then you will gain credibility fast! - Be yourself
People buy into people before they buy into products, don’t just constantly post deals or discounts, show who you are and get used to showing your real personality on camera and then people will feel like they know you well enough to support your business. - Engage With Your Audience
Reply to comments, answer DMs, and create conversations. Showing you care builds community, and community builds credibility.
Try these absolute MUST DO’s when posting online and watch the clients flood in!
