FitPro-X was created to address a clear gap in the fitness industry. Many aspiring personal trainers were passionate and qualified, yet lacked the real world experience and guidance needed to succeed. Education alone was not preparing trainers for the realities of the profession.
As FitPro-X grew, it became clear the challenge extended beyond education. Gyms were also struggling to find capable, job ready trainers. This led to an expanded mission to connect trainers and gyms, creating opportunities that support long term success across the industry.
PureGym Partnership
As of last year, we became an Official Education Partner of PureGym, the UK’s largest gym provider. This partnership allows us to deliver our Personal Training qualifications across 500+ PureGym sites nationwide, creating a reliable pipeline of job-ready Personal Trainers for one of the country’s most recognisable fitness brands. Through our courses, we’ve already placed hundreds of graduates into PureGym roles, supporting both individual careers and the wider fitness industry.
Our relationship with PureGym has grown steadily over several years, starting as a local collaboration in the Northeast and expanding organically across the UK. By consistently delivering high-quality graduates and a proven model that works, we earned the trust to scale nationally. Fitpro-X was founded by Alexander Parr, a qualified Personal Trainer with firsthand experience of the industry’s challenges. Driven to raise professional standards, Alex built the company to bridge the gap between education, experience, and opportunity for both trainers and gyms.
Joseph Mclean
Director & CRO
Joe McLean joined FitPro-X as a Director in 2024. A qualified Personal Trainer, Joe was driven by a desire to make a broader impact within the fitness industry. Our mission aligned closely with his vision for raising standards and creating clearer pathways for trainers.
